Why we exist
We're rebuilding what NKY lost when chain pharmacies closed.
Too many Northern Kentucky neighbors are stuck with pharmacies that have long lines, missing meds, and no one who knows their family. Lifeline opened to the public in March 2025 to fix that — a real local pharmacy where you're recognized, not numbered.
Lifeline started as a long-term care pharmacy serving more than 5,000 beds across nursing homes and assisted living facilities. That same expertise — careful medication management, pharmacist availability, real relationships — now serves families like yours.

Do you accept my insurance?
Yes — we accept all major insurance plans, Medicare Part D, and Medicaid. Switching pharmacies does not change your coverage. Call us at (859) 212-3931 with your insurance card and we will verify in five minutes.
How do I transfer my prescriptions?
Just call us at (859) 212-3931. We'll set up your profile over the phone — about five minutes — then handle the transfer with your old pharmacy. You don't have to do anything else. Prefer to come in? Bring your old bottle to 136 Plaza Drive and we'll set you up at the counter.
How does delivery work?
Flat $5 delivery within 10 miles of Cold Spring, including Newport, Fort Thomas, Bellevue, Dayton, Highland Heights, Alexandria, and surrounding NKY communities. Order by 2 PM for same-day delivery.
Is my information secure?
Yes. Lifeline is a HIPAA-covered entity. Your protected health information is only used to process your prescription and coordinate care, and we follow HIPAA safeguards for all patient data. Read our Notice of Privacy Practices.
What are your hours?
Monday through Friday 8:30 AM to 6:30 PM, Saturday 10 AM to 4 PM, closed Sunday. Holiday hours are posted on our Google Business Profile.
